I'm not familiar with Dawes Teams of 8, and it's not something we've ever tested, so I wouldn't like to state unequivocally that it's ok. Having said that, I can't think of any obvious reason why it would not work. I understand that it has to be set up in EBUScore as 2 sections. BridgePal supports multiple sections so that should work. BridgePal does not do scoring for Teams of 8 or cope with scoring across multiple sections but that doesn't matter as it's done by EBUScore. However, you should disable certain BridgePal Server settings so that the scoring units don't display cross imps on the travellers, and don't display a ranking list. You should probably also disable "Show Next Seatings at End of Round".

There is a new release of BridgePal Server available. You can download and install v2.5.5 from the "Download PC Components" page of the BridgePal website (second button on the page). It contains the following changes:

1. Fixes a bug which prevented Bridge Dealer saving the hand record when invoked from the Read Board menu function in the BridgePal app "Player Functions" menu.

2. The text for vulnerable directions in the bidding table header is now shown as white on a red background for improved readability.

When trying to change a score - anyone seen this?

When we tried again to correct the score we had no problems - so a mystery!

Unfortunately this issue hasn't been resolved yet. I cannot repeat it as it always works for me. I assumed it is related to the particular region, but it doesn't happen to me when I change the region on my PC. It would be interesting to hear if anybody else has this problem.
