Names don't show

I'm using EBUScore Pairs and new Kindle Fires.

After entering players' EBU numbers on the tablets, the tablets just show "noname". But the names are in EBUScore.

Any suggestions for what I'm doing wrong?

If you are using EBU numbers is it possible that you haven't set up the BMPlayerDB.mdb database ? This is required by BridgePal to lookup the names corresponding to the EBU numbers. You also need to set the name source correctly in the "Names Lookup" field on the BridgePal Server Settings screen. Make sure this field is set to "Club, then National" in the dropdown list.

Thanks, John, for pointing me to the Server Settings. As well as "Club, then National", I found I had to untick the box for "Allow Scoring Program to Set/Modify BCS Settings" and that did the trick.
